Weather or Not

This has been a great summer for lightning photography, and yes, I have more to post. My last session out would've yielded some great shots, but I was an absolute idiot and forgot to change my ISO back after my trip to the zoo. There were moments the entire sky was filled with lightning all the way to the horizon, but the image was overexposed. I still haven't forgiven myself. I just got in the habit of shooting nothing but lightning so I didn't think to check the ISO.

But I did finally break the cycle and went out to the zoo with my friend ChadeFuris. I really didn't feel like it, but I knew I needed to get out there and do something else (both in general and with my camera ;)). I got a couple of okay shots, but most will end up in scraps.

And I plan on getting as much done this morning as possible around here, starting with posting, followed by replies and eventually checking out new deviations if I have the time. Things've slowed to a crawl here lately, but that's alright. I ebb and flow, but I always come back.

Hello, Stunning gallery, but I like what you have to say even better. Anyone can take a shot of a lightning storm but to come up with your devid or your personal quote is not something many can do. You have a particular outlook on life and it shows through in your work. This is what I am on dA for!!

Thank you, I'm honored. Lightning isn't my only focus, but it certainly has been the main one lately. As for my outlook, I'd like to think I've learned a thing or two as I've fumbled along through life. :D
