I still haven't done anything but lightning photography lately, but man I've been having fun with it. The storm from two days ago presented special challenges, because the sun started coming up right behind the area I was shooting. I was having a hard time capturing the lightning without overexposing the background to the point of outshining the bolts. Because of this, I loaded all but one of the resulting images to scraps. I learned quite a bit and got one nice shot, so it was still a good session.

I also went out this morning and got several shots that look promising, but I haven't looked at them yet. I'll try and get any good ones up in the next day or two.

Speaking of posting, I'm still without a solid connection to the net, but will be signed on over the next few days. It looks like I'm pretty up to date with my messages, so I'll be finally getting a chance to peruse some of the many new deviations that've piled up while I've been away.
